Caregiver Supports

The VON "Survive and Thrive" Caregiver Education Series provides education for family caregivers who are caring for adults with long-term health conditions.

Topics covered include: Reducing your stress, Staying in control of your care situation, handling the common feelings of guilt and anger, and Community resources to assist you.

The series consists of four, two hour classes, usually over a four week period. Offered at various times and locations across the City of Hamilton, there is no cost to attend. The series is funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
